Keynote Speaker, Dr. Jay Greenfield
Jay has a B.A from Harvard in Social Relations, an M.A. From Duke in Pycholinguistics and a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in Social Work and Statistics.
Jay has taught at Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.
Jay was a Senior Scientist at Westat for many years working on the metadata, data collection and data analysis systems for many major health and nutrition studies including the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS), the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS), the integration of the Continuing Survey of Food Intake by Individuals (CSFII) with the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and the development of the original legislation for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
Jay is currently a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where he is the semantic architect for a DDI Lifecycle based metadata system that supports the National Children's Study (NCS).
