Going into this class I had no experience and no interest in painting or representing the landscape in any way. I struggled to configure working compositions outside of the walls of the studio, but I feel that towards the end, I started to experiment more with the physicality of the paint and representing the emotions I felt when creating the work. With this process I felt more of a connection to land and a more abstracted way of representing it.
