Locked Gate

This is the other entrance to the agricultural area not too far from where the tale of the murder was told. The locked gate is visible in the middle distance. One was also told, in bemused tones, of a gentleman Chinese farmer who, according to him, could be seen leisurely riding a tractor on a summer day. The tale-teller, himself of Hispanic descent, told of the more documented settlement of land by the 19th century African-American Harvey family just up the road to the southeast.
