According to a local farmer this is the site of a murder which took place sometime in the 1970s. After seeing a car drive down the road early on a weekend evening the farmer noticed it hadn’t moved several days later. Upon inspection a body was found. It isn’t difficult to understand the choice of the location for such a crime as it is one of the first remote locations to a nearby town yet still accessible by car.
