Acting as a windbreak for the pasture land to the south these saplings provide ample cover for small animals and birds. The drainage ditch alongside is rich in aquatic life. Their spacing can, at times, provide remarkable landscapes as one peers through the foliage to the distant ridges obscured on this foggy day.
